Essential oils are one of the therapeutic ways you can pamper and rejuvenate your senses. Lavender has been used for its relaxing and calming properties throughout history. I find lavender helps ease nervous tension and stress-related headaches, insomnia and emotional disturbance. When using for a bath: use 6-8 drops, for a massage: use 1-4 drops in vegetable oil, for sleep: use a couple of drops on your pillow and for a diffuser: use 5-10 drops in the diffuser.
